QuorumSoft is hoping to create backup and disaster recovery (DR) services revenue streams for managed service providers (MSPs) and cloud hosting providers.
Under its Alike MSP Advantage program, service providers can offer subscription-basedbackup and DR services for data stored in their data center or at their customer's facility. Support covers single-site or multi-site private cloud providers offering these services for customer data they host.
Features of MSP Advantage include QuorumSoft Alike, a backup and DR solution that integrates with Citrix XenServer, and deduplication technology. Companies enrolling in the program only pay for services they deliver to customers. The Alike solution used for DRaaS requires no upfront investment.
Program members will be given a turnkey billing solution and self-service access to a portal to view reports and other information.
