Messaging company Acision has joined the GSMA as an associate member of the global trade group for the mobile industry.

CAT Telecom of Thailand has deployed Comverse's billing and mediation solutions to support its wireless CDMA and fixed line services. The solutions replace CAT's legacy billing systems and help reduce complexity in the operator's BSS infrastructure.

Malaysian mobile operator Celcom has selected NeuStar's suite of IM solutions and clients to deliver interconnect mobile IM services to its customers. XOX has deployed a convergent billing platform provided by Computaris and Highdeal, which allows the Malaysian integrated telecom service provider to offer mobile payment and access convergence. The service enables XOX subscribers to seamlessly access their mobile services through both an internet and a mobile device based web services platform, with the convenience of a unified account - be it postpaid, prepaid or hybrid.

Virtual international mobile network operator Morodo has launched an affiliate and reseller program that will allow mobile users worldwide to use its Mo-call branded low-cost mobile international calling service.
