SingTel international chief Lim Chuan Poh is retiring after 12 years at the helm, and will vacate his position by year-end.

The incumbent carrier has initiated a search for Lim’s replacement, both within the company and externally.

Lim joined SingTel in 1998 as chief executive of fixed-line services, and was appointed CEO International in 2006.

Since his appointment as CEO International, he has been involved in the growth of the SingTel Group’s overseas investments, and the development of its relationships with overseas partners and the management of its associates.
