Softbank Mobile deploys HSPA+

Softbank Mobile deploys an HSPA+(DC-HSDPA) solution over its existing network in the 1.5-GHz band.

The company has tied up with Nokia Siemens Networks for what is says is a cost-effective and future-proof mobile data services proposition.

CTO Junichi Miyakawa said Softbank Mobile realizes that mobile broadband is now a lifestyle preference.

“The Nokia Siemens Networks solution enables affordable, cost-competitive prices, allowing us to provide the best value to our subscribers,” Miyakawa said.
