Tekelec has named Douglas A. Suriano as chief technology officer. He will be responsible for product innovation, leadership in standards bodies and industry forums, and advocacy for mobile data solutions across Tekelec’s global customer base.
Suriano will also retain his current responsibilities as vice president of engineering, a role he has held since joining Tekelec in 2003.
Prior to joining Tekelec from Suriano had been vice president of engineering at dynamicsoft and chief information officer for QAD Inc., an enterprise resource planning software developer.
