Huawei names James Wu SEA president

Huawei Technologies has appointed James Wu (pictured) as president of Southern-East Asia region.

In his new role, Wu will be in charge of the company's operations and be responsible for business development of the carrier, enterprise and consumer business groups in 11 markets across the region. He will also manage the company’s strategy and directions

Wu Joined Huawei in 2003 and has held several senior positions within the company including president of carrier business group for Middle East region, CEO of Saudi Arabia representative office and CEO of Oman representative office.

Glenn Gibson joins Sigma Systems as VP of marketing

Sigma Systems has appointed Glenn Gibson as vice president of marketing. In his new role Gibson will lead the company’s global marketing strategy, as it looks to further expand its footprint in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Gibson has over 20 years of marketing experience within the communications, technology and software industries. He joins Sigma Systems from Juniper Networks, where he most recently served as head of marketing at Juniper Networks Canada.
