Telecom Career: Inmarsat taps MD for India

Navin Kapila to lead Inmarsat’s Indian operations

Global mobile satellite communications services provider Inmarsat has appointed Navin Kapila as its MD for India.

Before joining Inmarsat, Kapila held roles including a senior post within the Indian Government’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and a senior executive position at ICO Global.

Kapila currently serves as a non-executive board member of Telkom South Africa and an International Telecommunications Union (ITU) special adviser for emergency communications.

SAS names Stanley Lam MD for HK

SAS has named Stanley Lam as the new MD for its Hong Kong operations.

Lam started his IT career at IBM in 1983 as a marketing trainee. He took up various roles in sales and marketing as well as product management and sales management through his 14 years tenure with IBM Hong Kong. Lam has also worked for NCR and Teradata.

Prior to joining SAS, Lam was the MD of SAP Hong Kong.
