The Small Cell Forum, the independent industry and operator association that supports small cell deployment worldwide, has appointed Sue Monahan as its CEO. She will support the industry association’s existing chairman and regional vice-chairs in its day to day management.

As CEO, Monahan will be responsible for carrier engagement and recruitment, and interactions with partner organizations. She will also take on management and senior-level interactions with the Forum’s many working and technical groups.

Prior to her new role, Monahan has held numerous senior roles at firms including AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Telcordia, as well as over 10 years as director for GSMA North America - a position she will continue in alongside her new function at the Small Cell Forum.
