Telstra has added a policy control capability to its Next G network and created a foundation to develop new services.
The capabilities are part of Nokia Siemens Networks’ implementation of its policy control and subscriber data management platforms.
“The enhancement of the Next G network with policy control and subscriber data management will deliver efficiencies in the use of its wireless network infrastructure,” said Mike Wright, executive director for networks and access technologies at Telstra.
