Bogdan Bogdanović, the shooting guard for the Serbian national team and the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, will no longer play at EuroBasket 2025.
According to the team's press service, the 33-year-old suffered a hamstring tendon injury and will go to the United States for rehabilitation. Captain duties have been handed to 34-year-old Stefan Jović.
Bogdanović was injured during the game against Portugal, grabbing the back of his thigh. Before that moment, he had played 15 minutes, scoring seven points and collecting five rebounds.
