Euroleague Referee Caught Stealing Perfume At Belgrade Airport

According to the internet portal Marca, Euroleague basketball referee Matej Boltauzer was caught stealing perfume at Belgrade Airport in Serbia.

The referee from Slovenia stole a bottle of Tom Ford perfume worth 221 euros from a Duty-free store. Security services apprehended him after the incident.

The incident took place on December 5, 2023, after a Euroleague match between Serbian club Partizan and Monaco. Boltauzer admitted guilt and expressed remorse for his actions.

It is worth noting that the 49-year-old referee has been officiating Euroleague matches since 2003.
