ESPN: NBA All-Star Match 2026 to Become a Mini-Tournament

According to ESPN, the 2026 NBA All-Star event will be transformed into a round-robin mini-tournament featuring three teams of eight players each.

Two of the teams will represent the United States, and the third will be a World team made up of international players. The NBA and the players’ association have already presented the proposed format to the league’s competition committee.

Each team will play the others, with quarters lasting the standard 12 minutes. The All-Star weekend will take place in Los Angeles at the Intuit Dome, home of the Clippers, on February 15, 2026.
