LeBron James Stays with Lakers, Set to Break NBA Record

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has exercised his contract extension option and will play the 2025/26 NBA season with the team, earning $52.6 million. This was reported by ESPN insider Shams Charania.

As he hits the court for the new season, the 40-year-old James will enter his 23rd season in the NBA, breaking the league record for the most seasons played in a career.

In the previous season, LeBron played 70 games, averaging 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game.
