The NBA will hold six regular season games in Europe over the next three years, according to a league announcement.
In 2026, the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies will face off twice: on January 15 in Berlin and January 18 in London. In 2027, one game is scheduled in Manchester and another in Paris, while in 2028, games will be held again in Berlin and Paris.
Details regarding which teams will participate in the 2027 and 2028 matches are yet to be confirmed.
The first NBA regular season game outside the U.S. and Canada took place on November 2, 1990, in Tokyo, where the Phoenix Suns defeated the Utah Jazz 119-96. Regular season games in Europe first occurred on March 4 and 5, 2011, when the New Jersey Nets (now the Brooklyn Nets) beat the Toronto Raptors twice. Moreover, in January 2025, two games were played in Paris between the San Antonio Spurs and Indiana Pacers.
