Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev commented on a possible third bout against Dmitry Bivol, the world champion for the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO light heavyweight titles.
Artur Beterbiev, quoted by Telecom Asia Sport
When will I return to boxing? Ask the St. Petersburg guy (Bivol) – as soon as he gets out of the hospital. After that, I will need two or three months for the camp. Will he fight? I don't know," MMA.Metaratings.ru's correspondent quoted Beterbiev as saying.
Beterbiev and Bivol had their rematch in February of this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dmitry won that fight by majority decision and became the undisputed light heavyweight world champion.
The first bout between these boxers took place in October 2024. Artur won that time by majority decision. He has a professional boxing record of 21 wins (20 by knockout) and one loss. Dmitry has 24 wins (12 by knockout) and one loss.
