Former world cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew has commented on the upcoming fight between Moses Itauma and Dillian Whyte, set for August 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Tony Bellew for IFL TV
I think it’s over inside four rounds. The Tetteh fight was not very good. A man is only as good as his last fight, and you’ve got to judge him on that. I think Dillian Whyte is a really good fighter and he was a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division, but I think every fighter has a window and I think his window has passed, which I’m sorry for.
Whyte last fought Ebenezer Tetteh in December 2024. That fight ended in Whyte’s favor by technical knockout after Tetteh’s corner stopped the contest. Whyte’s record stands at 31 wins (21 by knockout) and three losses.
Itauma’s most recent bout was against Mike Balogun in May of this year. Moses won that fight by technical knockout in the second round. His professional record is 12 wins (10 by knockout) and no defeats.
