
Famous Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Álvarez commented on a potential bout against American David Benavídez. Alvarez is scheduled to fight Terence Crawford in Las Vegas on September 14 for the undisputed super‑middleweight title.

Benavídez defeated Cuban David Morrell by unanimous decision in February. His professional record is 30 wins (24 by knockout) and no losses.
