Crawford and Canelo Are Negotiating a Rematch

The teams of American Terence Crawford and Mexican Saul Alvarez have begun negotiations for a rematch. This was announced by TV Azteca, citing Canelo.

The boxers may hold their second fight in 2026. Canelo underwent elbow surgery at the end of September and will not be able to return to the ring before the second or third quarter of next year.

It is recalled that in September 2025, Crawford defeated Alvarez by unanimous decision and became the undisputed super middleweight world champion. His record stands at 42 wins (31 by knockout) and zero losses. Canelo's record is 63 wins (39 by knockout), three losses, and two draws.
