Undisputed super middleweight champion Terence Crawford explained why he decided to return the titles he took from Saul Alvarez after his victory on September 14 in Las Vegas.
Terence Crawford, quoted by Sportskeeda
Well, those are his titles, it's all respect... I got a lot, a ton of respect for Canelo. I'm a fan of Canelo. I've always been a fan of Canelo and you know, I wanted to be the one that give him back his belts. I didn't want my team to hand him back his belts. I wanted to be the one that give him back his belts.
Recall that on September 14 in Las Vegas, Crawford defeated Alvarez by unanimous decision. Crawford’s record stands at 42 wins (31 by knockout) and no defeats. Canelo has 63 wins (39 by knockout), three losses and two draws.
