Crawford Says He's Fighting Canelo for Legacy

Former undisputed world champion in two weight classes, American Terence Crawford, shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight against Mexican Saul Alvarez, known as Canelo, which will take place on September 13 in Las Vegas, USA.

Terence Crawford
I’m doing it for the opportunity, baby, the legacy. The legacy outweighs the money. Three-time undisputed, ooo-wee coming soon.

Alvarez last stepped into the ring against William Scull in May this year, winning by unanimous decision. He has an impressive record of 63 wins (39 by knockout), two losses, and two draws.

Crawford's last fight was against Israil Madrimov in August 2024, where he also won by unanimous decision. His record stands at 41 victories (31 by knockout) with no losses.
