Crawford Team Member Addresses Possible Rematch With Canelo

Bernie Davis, a member of Terence Crawford’s coaching staff, explained why he sees no reason for a rematch with Saul Alvarez.

Bernie Davis for MillCity Boxing
I think we could stop him the second time. I think it’ll be worse because I feel a sharp Bud Crawford, I don’t think Canelo can hurt him. None of the s*** Canelo was doing worked. He thought Crawford was going to run like William Scull. He thought Crawford couldn’t hurt him. I don’t see any calls for a rematch because Bud handled him.

On September 14 in Las Vegas, Terence Crawford defeated Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision. Crawford now has 42 wins (31 by knockout) and remains unbeaten. Canelo’s record stands at 63 wins (39 by knockout), three losses and two draws.
