Former IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois of Great Britain has agreed to fight undefeated Cuban Frank Sanchez, according to Sky Sports.
The winner will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF title currently held by undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.
Negotiations are underway regarding the fight’s location and date, with an agreement expected by October 22.
Dubois last fought Usyk in July 2023, losing by a fifth-round knockout. Dubois’s record stands at 22 wins (21 by knockout) and three losses.
