Many fans speculated that Gitinov hinted at a fight between Andrei Arlovski and Fedor Emelianenko, as the Belarusian fighter had previously accused Emelianenko of cowardice and suggested a rematch in a boxing ring or in bare-knuckle fighting.
However, according to the information of Telecomasia.net coming from Emelianenko's team, no one from IBA Bare Knuckle has approached them with an offer to face Arlovski in a bare-knuckle match.
It is worth recalling that the fight between Arlovski and Emelianenko took place in January 2009 under the Affliction banner, ending with Fedor winning by knockout in the first round.
