Former boxing world champion Felix Sturm sentenced to two years and four months in prison

Former WBA, WBO and IBF middleweight champion Felix Sturm was found guilty of tax evasion and anti-doping violation. The German boxer was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.

Sturm's positive doping sample was discovered after his fight with Russian Fedor Chudinov in 2016. Felix won the fight by majority decision.

Sturm's last fight was against fellow countryman James Kraft in June 2021. This fight went the full distance and ended in favor of Felix by unanimous decision of the judges. He has a record of 43 wins (18 by knockout), six losses and three draws.
