American boxer Ryan Garcia announced that he will fight current WBC welterweight world champion Mario Barrios on February 21.
Garcia last fought against Rolando Romero in May of this year in New York. Ryan suffered a defeat by unanimous decision in that bout. His record stands at 24 wins (20 by knockout) and two losses.
Barrios last stepped into the ring against Manny Pacquiao in July of this year in Las Vegas. That fight ended in a majority draw. His record is 29 wins (18 by knockout), two losses, and two draws.
