Gervonta Davis May Retire from Professional Boxing

WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis may be considering retirement from his professional boxing career. This news was shared by boxing agent, insider, and consultant Rick Glaser.

Gervonta Davis
From several very reliable sources: Baltimore’s best fighter, ‘Tank’ Davis, is retiring — he’s telling those around him he’s not going to fight anymore. Apparently Tank is tired of boxing. He’s retired — until the money runs out.

Davis last fought against Lamont Roach in March 2025 in Brooklyn, which ended in a majority draw. Gervonta's record stands at 30 wins (28 by knockout), one draw, and no losses.
