In his previous fight, which took place in September 2024, Joshua lost via knockout to Daniel Dubois in the fifth round. Anthony's record now stands at 29 wins (26 by knockout) and four losses.
Paul's previous fight was against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June of this year in Anaheim, where Jake won via unanimous decision. In the fight against Joshua, Paul lost by stoppage for the first time. His record includes 12 wins (seven by knockout) and two losses.
