Oleksandr Usyk, the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, addressed YouTuber Jake Paul, who previously announced ambitious plans for the next five years to become a world champion, billionaire, marry, have three children, launch an app, beat Usyk, win an Oscar, fight on the moon, and run for president.
Good plan, @jakepaul. But I’m not here for 5th place — only first. Soon, I'll close the book on boxing, and after that, I’ll be waiting for you in the cage. Let’s see if you’ve got the balls or just a hunger for hype.
Usyk last fought Daniel Dubois in July in London, knocking him out in the fifth round to reclaim the undisputed heavyweight title. His record stands at 24 wins (15 by knockout) with no losses.
Jake Paul will hold an exhibition match on November 14 in Miami against the WBA lightweight world champion, Gervonta Davis. Earlier this year, in June, Paul beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision. His record is 12 wins (7 by knockout) with one loss.
