
Japanese boxer Naoya Inoue addressed opinions that he is physically inferior to Uzbek fighter Murodjon Akhmadaliev. Recall that the fighters will face off on September 14 in Japan.

I definitely don't think I'm inferior in terms of overall strength. The only thing you could say that is intimidating about Akhmadaliev is his physicality and power.
Inoue last fought Ramon Cardenas in May this year. He won by TKO in the eighth round, retaining his status as the undisputed world champion. Inoue’s record stands at 30 wins (27 by knockout) and no losses.
Akhmadaliev last entered the ring against Luis Castillo in May of this year, winning by knockout in the eighth round. His record is 14 wins (11 by knockout) and one loss.
