I Thought I Won the Fight 8–4: Pacquiao

Former eight-weight world champion Manny Pacquiao expressed his surprise at the outcome of his fight against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.

Manny Pacquiao
I thought that after the 12 rounds, I won the fight like – my analysis is I won 8-4. That’s my analysis for the fight. But the thing is I’m surprised with the announcement – it’s a draw. So, I did my best in the ring. You know, the fans were so happy with my performance. But it’s all right. Pacman is back, so I’m still here.

The bout between Pacquiao and Barrios took place on July 20 in Las Vegas, USA. The fight ended in a majority draw, allowing Mario to retain his WBC title in the welterweight category.

Pacquiao's professional boxing record stands at 62 wins (39 by knockout), 8 losses, and 3 draws. Barrios has 29 wins (18 by knockout), 2 losses, and 2 draws.
