Former undisputed light-welterweight world champion Kostya Tszyu commented on the possibility of his sons, Timofey and Nikita Tszyu, sparring in an exclusive interview with Telecomasia.net.
Kostya Tszyu exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
My sons don't spar against each other. The last time I saw something like it was at my own house. And they weren't fighting until the first drop of blood – it was something much worse than that. I don't think they'd gain anything from sparring, because it would just escalate into something more serious. I really wouldn't want to see them spar.
Tim Tszyu last fought on July 25 in a bout for the WBC championship title, where he lost to the current belt holder, Sebastian Fundora. His record stands at 25 wins and three losses.
Nikita Tszyu last stepped into the ring on August 25 and defeated Lulzim Ismaili. Nikita holds a record of 11 wins and zero losses.
