On November 14, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, a bout will take place between popular blogger Jake Paul and WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis.
The Florida Athletic Commission announced that the fight will be held as an exhibition, since Paul has a significant size and weight advantage over Davis.
The match will be logged in the national registry as an exhibition, and it will not count toward either athlete’s professional record. The exhibition will classify knockouts and technical knockouts as fight-ending in the same manner as professional contests. The Florida Athletic Commission remains committed to transparency, regulatory compliance, and the continued safe advancement of combative sports in Florida.
Commission representatives also stated that the fight will last 10 rounds of three minutes each, with Paul and Davis wearing 12-ounce gloves. The bout will be judged by three officials – two professional judges and one AI judge.
Paul last stepped into the ring in June 2025, defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by unanimous decision. His record stands at 12 wins (7 by knockout) and one loss.
Davis last fought against Lamont Roach in March 2025. That fight ended in a majority draw. Gervonta’s record includes 30 wins (28 by knockout), one draw, and no losses.
