Former world champion and eight-division boxing legend Manny Pacquiao has accused his former rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. of dodging a rematch.
Manny Pacquiao on The Ariel Helwani Show
He's been ducking [the rematch]. I don't want an exhibition with [Mayweather], I want a real fight. It's been a long time [since the first fight]. I want to give the fans a good fight between me and [Mayweather], but he's been ducking, avoiding me.
Pacquiao and Mayweather faced off in the ring back in May 2015 in Las Vegas, where Mayweather won by unanimous decision. He boasts a professional boxing record of 50 wins (27 by knockout) and no losses, while Pacquiao has achieved 62 victories (39 by knockout), with eight losses and two draws.
On July 20, Pacquiao is scheduled to fight current WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
