The Ring has reported that on September 14 in Nagoya, Japan, a boxing event will headline a title fight in the bantamweight division between Naoya Inoue and Uzbekistan's Murodjon Akhmadaliev.
Inoue last stepped into the ring in May 2025, securing a victory over Ramon Cardenas by technical knockout in the eighth round.
Making his professional debut against Crison Omayao, Naoya won that fight by knockout in the fourth round. He boasts a record of 30 wins (27 by knockout) with no losses.
Ahmadaliev has a record of 14 wins (11 by knockout) and one loss, while his opponent Castillo has 31 wins (20 by knockout) and seven losses.
