Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou said he plans to discuss a possible boxing bout with former WBC champion Deontay Wilder in the near future.

Yes, I [am pursuing it]. We haven’t engaged personally, but it’s gonna be soon.
Ngannou’s last fight was against Renan Ferreira in October 2024 at a PFL event, where he won by first-round knockout. His record stands at 18 wins and three losses.
Wilder last fought Tyrrell Herndon in June of this year, winning by a seventh-round knockout. His record is 44 wins (43 by KO), four losses and one draw.
