Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao has been placed at number one in the World Boxing Council welterweight rankings, the updated list published on the council’s website shows.
The WBC welterweight championship belt is currently held by American boxer Mario Barrios. In July this year Pacquiao fought Barrios and the bout ended in a draw.
Pacquiao has fought professionally since 1995. His record stands at 62 wins with 39 by knockout, eight losses and three draws.
