American influencer and boxer Jake Paul stated that he has held preliminary talks about a bout with UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira of Brazil.

His team is down [to do the fight]. I think the only thing preventing it is the UFC, and if these guys can get out of their contracts to fight me. It would be a massive fight at some point, and I know he's down to make it happen. 1000% I would beat him. He doesn't like body shots. In MMA, Pereira would rip my head off. But boxing is a completely different sport, and the pace of it, and the style of it... He has holes.
