On June 18, WBC junior welterweight champion Regis Prograis and WBC junior welterweight champion Danielito Zorrilla fought on the night of June 18 in New Orleans.
The fight, which went the full 12 rounds, ended with Regis winning by split decision.
Prograis, 34, had his last fight against Jose Zepeda in November 2022 in Carson. Regis won that fight by knockout in the 11th round, winning the WBC junior welterweight belt. He has 29 wins (24 by knockout) and one loss.
Zorrilla, 29, defeated Aristides Quintero by TKO in the first round in March, 2023. He has 17 wins (13 by knockout) and two losses.
