WBA super featherweight world champion Lamont Roach Jr. expressed skepticism about the possibility of a rematch with WBA lightweight titleholder Gervonta Davis.
We checked him out. And so, if that’s the case , we checked him out. And if he retire, he retire. We’ll wish him the best in his retired life. I don’t think we get it (rematch), being realistic. But if we do, we’ll see.
The fight between Davis and Roach took place in March this year in Brooklyn, USA. The bout ended in a majority draw.
The 30-year-old Roach has a record of 25 wins (10 by knockout), one loss, and two draws. The 30-year-old Davis holds 30 wins (28 by knockout), one draw, and no losses.
