The fight between WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson from the USA and Floyd Schofield, which was scheduled for February 22 in Saudi Arabia, will not take place.
According to insider Dan Rafael, Schofield has pulled out from the fight, and a new opponent is being sought for Stevenson.
Stevenson last stepped into the ring against Artem Harutyunyan in July 2024. That match went the distance and ended in favor of Shakur by unanimous decision. He holds a record of 22 wins (10 by knockout) with no losses.
