Two-time Olympic champion and undisputed world champion in the heavyweight division Claressa Shields has signed a promotional agreement with Wynn Records and Salita Promotions.
According to the Associated Press, the contract guarantees Shields a minimum of $8 million.
The 30-year-old American plans to return to the ring in early 2026. While the exact number of fights is not specified in the agreement, the deal includes provisions for cross-promotional opportunities, allowing Shields to compete on various platforms.
Shields last fought in July 2024 against Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse. The bout was stopped in the second round, with Claressa winning by technical knockout. With that victory, she captured the WBC and WBF heavyweight titles, as well as the WBO light heavyweight belt. Her professional boxing record stands at 15 wins (3 by knockout) and no losses.
