Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia Turki Al Al-Sheikh showed the belt for which Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will fight on May 18 in Riyadh.
"This belt will wait for Fury or Usyk … made specifically for this fight," Al Al-Sheikh wrote on social media.
Usyk's last fight was against Daniel Dubois in August 2023. In that fight, Oleksandr won by knockout in the ninth round. He has 21 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat on his record.
Fury last entered the ring against Francis Ngannou in October 2023. This fight lasted the entire distance and ended in favor of Tyson by a split decision of judges. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and no losses.
