There’s No Reason for Canelo to Retire: Kudryashov

Russian boxer Dmitry Kudryashov told Telecomasia.net in an exclusive interview that Mexican Saul Álvarez should not end his career after losing to American Terence Crawford.

Dmitry Kudryashov exclusively for Telecom Asia Sport
Nothing terrible or critical happened in the fight. Canelo is still a big name, and he can keep earning money. It’s his decision. He's healthy and he has no reasons to retire. Besides, it’s hard to look good in the ring against fighters like Crawford – especially when you’re landing single shots like Álvarez did. You can’t beat Terence that way, the American’s IQ is too high.

Recall that the 35‑year‑old Mexican has 63 wins (39 by knockout), three losses and two draws. He lost four super‑middleweight world titles in the bout with Crawford.
