Undisputed World Boxing middleweight champion and PFL league fighter Claressa Shields has revealed when she plans to fight her third fight in mixed martial arts.

I’ve been training MMA with Murcielago Team in Lansing for the past few months, and I’ll continue training with them. I’ve been learning a lot. I’m getting stronger in those fields that I’m not strong. I believe February or April you’ll see me back in the PFL SmartCage.
Shields, 28, had her last MMA bout in October 2021 in the PFL regular season finale, losing to Abigail Montes by split decision. She has one win and one loss on her record.
