WBO Sanctions Usyk vs. Parker with 30 Days to Negotiate

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has announced the next fight for Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk. According to a statement from the WBO press service, his upcoming opponent will be New Zealander Joseph Parker.

Both parties have been given 30 days to reach an agreement for the bout. Usyk is currently the undisputed heavyweight champion, while Parker holds the interim WBO title.

In his last fight on July 19, Usyk scored a knockout victory over British fighter Daniel Dubois in the fifth round, maintaining his perfect record with 24 wins in 24 bouts. Parker has 36 wins and three losses to his name.
