Chinese boxer Zhilei Zhang spoke about his upcoming fight against former world heavyweight champion, American Deontay Wilder, which will take place on 1 June in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

In an interview with Queensberry promotion, Zhang said:

I don't think this fight goes the distance because when Chinese power and Alabama power, we're gonna bang the hell out of each other and this fight is not gonna go the distance

Wilder last fought Joseph Parker in December 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In that fight, Deontay was defeated by unanimous decision of the judges. He has 43 wins (42 by knockout), three losses and one draw.

Zhilei last entered the ring against the same Parker in March of this year. That fight lasted the full distance and ended with Zhang losing by majority decision. He has 26 wins (21 by knockout), two losses and one draw.
