The news that Colapinto will remain with Alpine has strengthened talks about the possible return of the Argentina Grand Prix to the Formula 1 calendar in 2028. The most wins on Argentine soil were achieved by five-time world champion Juan Manuel Fangio (4). The last Argentina Grand Prix, held in 1998, was won by the legendary Michael Schumacher.
