At 63 years old, Mohammed Ben Sulayem has been leading the FIA since 2021, having succeeded Jean Todt as president.
In September 2024, he was appointed as a UN ambassador for tourism in sustainable tourism within the "Sports" category.
Currently, McLaren leads the Constructors' Championship in Formula 1 with 460 points, followed by Ferrari at 222 points and Mercedes at 210 points.
