Former Formula 1 driver Jaime Alguersuari has expressed confidence that Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will leave the Austrian team.
Jaime Alguersuari
What I can say is that there was a lot going on inside in the last few years with so many different decisions from Dr. Helmut Marko, Christian, different Red Bull drivers going back and forth. Adrian Newey left for a reason. There must be a reason for his exit. And now it looks like the whole team is falling apart. That's how I see it from the outside, really. And I'm completely sure Max will leave as well.
To recall, Max Verstappen has been with Red Bull since 2016 and has won four championship titles in F1 during that time.
It is important to mention that the 27-year-old Dutch driver is under contract with the Austrian team until the end of the 2027/2028 season.
Currently, in the drivers' championship, Verstappen is in third place, trailing the leader, Oscar Piastri from McLaren, by 69 points.
The next F1 event will be held from July 25 to July 27 at the Belgian track of Spa-Francorchamps.
