Former F1 Driver Chandhok Assesses Norris’s Title Chances After Two Consecutive Wins

Karun Chandhok, a former Formula 1 driver, assessed the chances of British driver Lando Norris of McLaren to win the championship after securing back-to-back victories at the Grands Prix of Mexico and Brazil.

Karun Chandhok for Sky Sports
Does Norris have one hand on the crown? I think so, just because of the form he's showing. It's one thing about the points gap but the form he's shown, the way he's working with his team, his nuclear team, has been so strong, the last four race weekends in particular.

In the current Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship standings, Lando Norris leads with 390 points. Oscar Piastri sits second with 366 points. Max Verstappen completes the top three with 341 points.

It should be noted that three more Grand Prix rounds remain before the end of the current season.

It was previously reported that Lando Norris matched the record of legendary driver Michael Schumacher by winning the first ten Grands Prix of the season on different circuits.
